Woowwww! So much ado about a comment taken out context and a fun little clap-back tweet that led to an athletic director having to call a presser. Only in Kentucky do we get to argue amongst ourselves about whether the University of Kentucky is a basketball school or a football school and it ends up featured all over national sports media. Just goes to show how much our football program has grown over the last handful of years, but we have always loved our boys of fall around here. The absolute truth of the matter???

Kentucky is a Cheerleading School... and a Track School (have you seen Abby Steiner run??)..... and a Rifle School.... and a Volleyball School.... and a Basketball School.... and a Football School ... and any and everything else.

Why? Well, Big Blue Nation always shows up. Blue gets in. No matter if it is a random golf tournament or the Olympics or a championship game, you see a sea of royal blue in the audience. Folks around here are passionate about our Commonwealth and that bleeds over to OUR University and it is widespread. To steal a line from Charles Booker - Form the "Hood to the Holler" we all show up for Kentucky. Competing fan bases have lots of thoughts about this but we don't care. We really, deep in our hearts, don’t care. Bless y’alls hearts.
